Visiting this site: This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking or analytics. When you open it, the hosting provider automatically stores technically necessary data in server log files (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser). This is needed to deliver the site securely (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after a short period.
Contacting me: If you write to me by e-mail, I use your details only to answer your request and to carry out a booking (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). I delete them once they are no longer needed, unless legal retention periods apply.
Instagram: This site only links to my Instagram profile. No data is sent to Instagram until you click the link. After that, Meta's privacy policy applies.
Your rights: You have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit NRW.
Terms & conditions
As of October 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply to all services by Augustinsound (Arno Augustin): FOH and monitor engineering, mixing, music production and sound design. Different terms of the client only apply if I agree to them in writing.
2. Offer and booking
My offers are non-binding. A booking is confirmed once both sides have agreed in writing (e-mail is enough). The offer or booking confirmation sets out the services, dates and fees.
3. Fees and payment
Fees are as agreed in the offer. Travel costs, accommodation and per diems are charged separately unless agreed otherwise. A working day on live jobs covers up to 10 hours including soundcheck; extra hours are charged at the agreed hourly rate. Invoices are due within 14 days without deduction.
4. Cancellation by the client
Cancellations must be made in writing. The following applies, measured against the agreed fee:
- more than 30 days before the date: free of charge
- 30 to 15 days before: 50 %
- 14 to 8 days before: 80 %
- 7 days or less before, or no-show: 100 %
Costs already incurred (for example non-refundable travel tickets) are charged in full.
5. Cancellation by Augustinsound
If I cannot do a job due to illness or other important reasons, I will tell the client immediately and, where possible, suggest a qualified replacement. Any further claims are excluded, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
6. Duties of the client
The client provides, in good time, all information needed for the job (tech rider, stage plan, input list, schedule) as well as safe working conditions, a suitable power supply, access to the venue and adequate breaks.
7. Revisions
Mixing and production include two rounds of revisions unless agreed otherwise. Further revisions or changes to the agreed scope are charged separately.
8. Rights of use
Once paid in full, the client receives the rights of use needed for the agreed purpose. Further uses (for example for sound design in advertising, games or film) are agreed separately. Unless agreed otherwise, I may name the project as a reference.
9. Liability
I am liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence I am only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. I am not liable for equipment provided by the client or the venue, or for damage caused by its condition.
10. Force majeure
If a job cannot take place due to circumstances outside either party's control (for example severe weather, official bans or pandemic measures), both parties are released from their obligations. Costs already incurred are reimbursed.
11. Final provisions
German law applies. If the client is a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is Dortmund. If any provision is invalid, the rest of these terms remain in force.
